Dioralyte is a fast and effective rehydration treatment to help replace the loss of fluid and electrolytes (minerals and salts) lost when you have diarrhoea.
Each sachet of Dioralyte has been carefully designed to contain the perfect balance of essential electrolytes for your body’s well-being and Glucose (sugars) to help your body absorb the electrolytes and water efficiently.
Dioralyte can be used to correct fluid and electrolyte loss after exercise, sport, bouts of diarrhoea, or when you notice that you are dehydrated.
How Dioralyte works
Your body needs the right balance of fluids and electrolytes to be able to perform essential functions and maintain your health.
Diarrhoea, long term health conditions, and sweating when we exercise are just some of the reasons why your body loses water and important electrolytes (mineral salts), making you feel tired, unwell and can lead to dehydration.
Dioralyte targets dehydration following diarrhoea, helping your body:
- Restore and maintain lost fluids
- Replace essential electrolytes
- …helping you feel better, quicker.
You should use a Dioralyte after each episode of diarrhoea as soon as the symptoms start. Dioralyte comes in handy sachets. Simply dissolve one sachet in 200ml of water for a rehydration therapy which helps replace the vital fluids and electrolytes your body has lost through diarrhoea.
